We have had a very busy couple of weeks in Year 3 and we continue to be impressed with the learning that is going on in school and at home. In English we have been learning all about the features of non-chronological reports. The children enjoyed finding writing features in our text about penguins. In science we have been learning the scientific names for bones like: clavicle, mandible, thoracic cage and patella (not nutella!!!). We made our own funky skeletons and created x-rays of our hand bones. We have been really impressed with the wonderful home learning that has been going on. There have been some really creative photos sent in (we are all very jealous of new puppies and delicious cream teas!!!) and we enjoy sharing these in class. We now have a very impressive selection of Stonehenge models ( well done all!) Keep up the great work Year 3.
