Owl Babies

Welcome back to the Foundation Stage at the start of this busy Autumn term and a big “hello” to our new families. We hope that you all had a great summer holiday.

We have had a lovely few days getting to know the children in all four classes. They have settled in really well and we are delighted with the way in which they have quickly adjusted to new routines and expectations. We have completed these few days with lots of smiley, happy children although we are all slightly tired as Friday afternoon closes!

The term has started with the book ‘Owl Babies’; a lovely story about a mummy owl and her babies. We have also begun talking about our families and the differences and similarities between them. The theme next week will be around the story of ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’.

Have a restful weekend!

  • We are now happy to accept your £3.00 donation towards cooking and a box of tissues per child thank you.
  • Also do you have any bags of compost left over from your summer gardening? If so, we would be happy to receive these donations to enable us to fill our digging pit.
  • Please check that all uniform, bags, book bags, coats and lunch boxes are named. Many thanks.
